Every spring all eyes are on the Aintree racecourse as the fastest horses and their jockeys are put to the test at the world’s greatest steeplechase, the Grand National.
Meanwhile, Liverpool’s finest fillies enter a competition of their own – the Ladies’ Day best dressed contest.
And for these Scouse beauties, more is definitely more as glamorous babes flash as much flesh as they can in brightly-coloured frocks and staggering high heels.
Led by Wayne Rooney’s wife Coleen and WAG Danielle O’Hara, Ladies’ Day is all about getting dolled up in your glad rags and having a jolly good day out.
Now this year racegoers’ sartorial efforts could be rewarded, thanks to shopping centre Liverpool ONE, which will be hunting for the most stylish racegoer on the day itself.

The ladies’ flamboyant outfits will be judged by three influential style bloggers: Prince Cassius, Fashion Influx and Two Shoes One Pair. And, the best dressed will win a £10,000 holiday to the Dominican Republic and a £250 gift card to spend at Liverpool ONE every month for a year.
Stylish racegoers will be invited to be photographed in the Liverpool ONE Ladies’ Lounge, then three judges will each select a shortlist of 10 women.
All 30 will then strut it out on a catwalk where each judge will pick a finalist before throwing the final three out to the public vote by social media.
What better excuse to get a blow dry and spray tan?
